I am a tutor with experience teaching students in a multitude of subjects. I'm available to help students in reading, writing, literature, grammar and mechanics, phonics, and more. I can also do test prep for the SAT, ACT, and Regents exams. I tutor Italian and have experience teaching ESL. I received my degree in English and Communications from the University of Tampa. I continued my education at Hofstra University where I received my master's in Journalism, Media Studies, and Public Relations. I'm now working with students as a teacher at an elementary school. I'm very passionate about tutoring, and I myself still love to learn new things. I think that knowledge gives us the ability to look at and analyze things with a new perspective. I believe that it's important to use real world, current references and examples while tutoring so that students can better relate to the subject matter. I keep up on pop culture so that I can reference current events in my tutoring sessions. In my free time I love reading, writing, cooking, and spending time outdoors.
